The industry experts for banking automation from the heart of Europe
Pioneer in cash recycling
Austrian pioneer
KEBA's history of banking automation goes back to the 1970s, when KEBA was strongly focused on controlling self-service safety deposit box systems. Twenty years later in 1992, KEBA presented its initial ideas on cash recycling - a technology that experienced a boom in Japan at that time, but still largely unknown in Europe.
In this way, the automation company from the heart of Europe has paved the way and prepared the ground in the European market for the cassette based recycling technology. Today, KEBA is a pioneer in this area, the number 1 in Austria and number 2 in Germany.
Cash recycling in a new dimension
The most important technical component, the cash recycling module, has undergone further development for the new evo series. The proven type 5 validator has been extended with technologies that provide completely new possibilities: a waterproof mechanical system makes it possible to use the products outdoors.
And thanks to the dual cassette technology, up to eight denominations can be recycled with evo in just five cassettes. This optimizes processes, increases efficiency and creates the freedom for counter-less branches, the replacement of automated teller units and employee-assisted self-service (self-service counter).
