Smartmile and Keba join hands in a brand new partnership

The launch of Smartmile and KEBA's partnership is marked by their first collaborative installations of an outdoor parcel machine in Tampere and Oulu Finland. Consumers can find the first outdoor, Smartmile enabled, KEBA machine in North Oulu, Finland, followed closely by a second installation at the Matkahuolto terminal in the center of Tampere, Finland. Today, retailers struggle with limited indoor space, all while balancing the consumer demand for 24/7 delivery. Outdoor lockers allow for installations of 24/7 higher capacity machines that solve these struggles and meet consumer demands better. Smartmile decided to partner with KEBA because they believe it is a company with long-term experience that can provide high-quality outdoor machines

Like all Smartmile parcel machines, this collaborative machine is open and shared, meaning that multiple couriers, hardware providers, and retailers can be integrated into the Smartmile software and use the machines to exchange parcels. This integration with KEBA took only two days, and the actual machine installation took 6 hours. The speed of installation and integration shows the open nature and scalability of the Smartmile software while illustrating the expertise of KEBA expanding Smartmile's portfolio of hardware providers. In conclusion, both companies are content with the new partnership and look forward to what the future brings.
