Three-level inverter for high-speed drives

The drive controllers for maximum output frequencies

In high-speed drives, e.g. for turbo machines, the maximum possible output frequencies of conventional drive controllers are often not sufficient. KEBA has been offering special three-point inverter output stages for these applications for many decades.

Three-level inverter technology

Three-level output stage technology (TL) achieves almost sinusoidal motor currents (blue) by means of additional voltage potentials (red) and higher switching frequencies. Additional sinusoidal filters are not required. The resulting low rotor heating is essential for many applications.

System integration

The ServoOne TL drive controllers offer a high degree of flexibility for integration into your system concept.

Active input stage

Legal requirements and electrical infrastructures – such as transformers, cables and switchgear – increasingly demand a reduction in the grid load caused by electrical loads. The ServoOne TL 50kW with its active input stage (AIS) meets these requirements with a THDi ≤ 5%.
A higher DC link voltage compared to devices with passive output stages also allows either a more compact motor design or a higher output power with a comparable mains voltage.
