Why KEBA?

Market leader cash recycling

At KEBA, we strive to be a strong and reliable partner in the field of bank automation. We have pioneered the field of cash recycling in particular, with a foundation of decades of experience. We presented our first ideas for cassette-based cash recycling as early as the 1990s. Security aspects and accessibility solutions are major considerations and are accommodated in our product engineering from the word go.

Sustainability, too, is a major driver: 9.8 out of 10 KEBA self-service machines are recycled and returned to the resource cycle. We also favour long-lived materials such as glass and metal. Read on to find out more about what drives our success and how you can benefit from working with us.

Optimizing banking processes through closed-loop money cycles

Cash is expensive and rising pressure to cut costs is a major factor for both private and public banks’ profitability and competitive power.

The challenge lies in managing optimized cash handling and making holding cash reserves ever more efficient. At the same time, however, there is a need to ensure cash supply for the population.

High-availability cash recyclers with closed-loop money cycles can replace simple cash dispensers and over-the-counter/night deposit combinations because they efficiently merge deposit and withdrawal transactions within a single machine.

So why KEBA cash recycling? Because the more process steps you eliminate from the cash cycle, the more you cut costs.

Accessible

At KEBA, maximum efficiency and maximum flexibility are not mutually exclusive but come with the territory. We are especially focused on ensuring that all of your customers can use all machines safely and comfortably. The core factor is optimal user experience.

All our handicapped accessible cash recyclers and all our non-cash terminals today already meet the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which comes into effect in 2025. Find out more here.

Industry expertise

With our decades of experience in bank automation from being market leader ATM, we know what to look out for when it comes to cash recycling. Way back in 1992, we answered the question of why KEBA ATM by presenting our first ideas for cassette-based cash recycling. Even back then, making our machines user-friendly and secure was a key concern.

Over the years, we never stopped upgrading and improving our cash recyclers and non-cash terminals. Our many customer projects have built up the valuable, one-of-kind expertise we draw from today. Find out more here.

Sustainability

A range of expansive measures ensure that KEBA’s cash recyclers and self-service terminals reduce the burden on resource use. The evo series cash recyclers are based on a fundamentally energy-efficient concept. We applied a large number of adjustments during the design phase to cut energy consumption by 40%.

First off, we use long-lived materials like metal, glass and reinforced plastics. Secondly, we manufacture products for the European market in Austria. This makes transport routes shorter and saves CO2. Read more about sustainability at KEBA here.

Security

Physical or digital: our designs focus on keeping your monetary assets secure. The evo series is the benchmark when it comes to solid, mechanical base constructions. The standard off-the-shelf solutions already incorporate the key security measures in every evo series cash recycler.

But even top-of-the-line standard equipment can be upgraded further, which is why the KEBA security portfolio offers advanced measures for adding extra protection to your evo series cash recyclers. Check here to find out more about how secure our cash recyclers are.
