KeContact P30
PV EDITION
Soak up the sun as much as possible
Our KeContact P30 PV EDITION optimises the use of self-produced solar power. How? The Wallbox makes all excess power from its own PV system available to the electric vehicle. The house is primarily supplied with energy from the domestic PV system, then the electric vehicle. PV power is only fed into the grid when it is not demanded any more. If the excess PV is too small to only charge with your own solar power, it can still be used – the missing energy then comes from the grid. In order to be able to quickly charge the electric vehicle without a lot of solar power, the boost function can be activated in the web interface or in the KEBA eMobility App. Grid power ensures the maximum charging capacity regardless of the weather.
The advantages of the PV Edition from KEBA at a glance
- Optimized excess PV charging through communication with an external energy meter and dynamic control
- Lower electricity costs by using self-produced energy
- Simple and uncomplicated charging of e-cars with solar power
- Works in conjunction with the KeContact E10 Smart Energy Meter or one of the compatible energy meters
- No investment in an additional energy management system necessary
Dynamic control of the charging power
Based on the energy provided by the PV system
Reduced payback time for the PV system
Cost reduction through less use of expensive grid power
Boost function using the KEBA eMobility App
Fast charge function combines grid and solar power
Climate-neutral manufactured in Austria

PV Set Advanced
You need the following components for PV-optimised charging:
- KeContact P30 PV EDITION wallbox
with fixed cable, socket or shutter - KeContact E10 Smart Energy Meter
measures the power consumption of all household consumers and thus enables the wallbox to regulate the charging power - KeContact S10 Phase Switching Device
automatically switches between 3- and 1-phase charging if, for example, only a lower PV power is available due to the weather
PV Set Professional
You need the following components for PV-optimised charging and billing:
- Measurement and calibration law compliant or MID-certified KeContact P30 company car wallbox
enables charging power to be billed - KeContact E10 Smart Energy Meter
measures the power consumption of all household consumers and thus enables the wallbox to regulate the charging power - KeContact S10 Phase Switching Device
automatically switches between 3- and 1-phase charging if, for example, only a lower PV power is available due to the weather
The wallbox for your PV system
Our climate-neutral KeContact P30PV EDITION complements our KEBA product portfolio. In connection with a PV system, it ensures that a larger part of one's own mobility is sustained with self-produced power. The so-called optimised excess PV charging is made possible by constant communication between the energy meter on the house connection and the wallbox as well as dynamic control. Result: If the current PV power is higher than the current house requirement, the difference is always made available in full for the electric car. This KEBA wallbox is also characterised by the following points:
- Available with fixed cable, socket or shutter
- Ensures safe and reliable charging of your vehicle
- The socket and shutter variants enable charging processes with a power of up to 22 kW (3-phase with max. 32 A). The cable variant up to 11 kW.
- White design cover with yellow sun icon
- 4 years guarantee on the wallbox

Tips and tricks for installing and using our PV sets
Our KeContact P30 PV EDITION – ideally in combination with our PV sets – enables you to utilise self-produced solar power. For this purpose, the wallbox provides the electric car with the excess power of its own PV system. In this article, you’ll learn how to best install the new hardware and how to use the new software features with your existing hardware.
chargecloud and KEBA – a powerful partnership
chargecloud, the B2B software solution for electromobility, has certified KEBA wallboxes. This means that users of KeContact P30 can now manage their charging infrastructure with the help of the cloud-based B2B software solution from chargecloud.
Passing on charging costs to the employer the easy way
Electric company cars are often charged at employees' homes. The electricity used must be recorded separately from private consumption. With our new company car wallbox, we offer a charging station that enables automatic billing of the charging current with the employer.
Calibrating a wallbox: here’s what German measurement and calibration standards mean
You often see public charging stations in the German-speaking world reading the letters ME. They stand for "Mess- und Eichrecht" (measurement and calibration act). But what does that mean? What other calibration standards are out there? And why do I need a calibrated wallbox for my personal use? Here are the answers.
Charging the company car at home – this is how the billing works
Electric cars are increasingly the first choice for a company’s vehicle fleet. To make the best use of them, drivers should charge them at home – the electric vehicle can park overnight and thus refuel in the most economic way. To pass on that part of the electricity bill to the employer, there are various options.
