Our pioneering story
The history of KEBA Electric Mobility is one of conviction, passion and progress. Ten years ago, the Austrian automation expert decided to enter a new business segment with charging stations for electric cars. At that time, electric mobility was just a dream of the future. Today, KEBA has already manufactured more than 150,000 wall boxes and sold them all over the world. And is regarded as a pioneer of electric mobility.
Many of today's established charging solutions come from KEBA, such as one of the world's first wall boxes. We are proud of this and continue to develop our wall box - which is already an intelligent communication and control center. Because our claim has remained the same: Today, as in the past, we solve the challenges of the future with a great pioneering spirit and a clear focus on top quality and maximum user comfort.

Andreas Plotz is Executive Sales Manager for Electric Mobility at KEBA. Together with his team, he regularly looks to the future to identify trends and find solutions for future challenges. He recently accepted an invitation from Welt.de in Frankfurt, Germany. In an interview with ZDF presenter Ralph Szepanski, he gave insights into these analyses as part of "The Business Debate".
He explains that mobility in the future - how we get from point A to point B - will change completely. He highlights which megatrends come together in this sector and why electric mobility is paving the way for them - above all for the energy revolution. And he knows why a charging station should not only be able to charge, but also communicate and control.
