Click & Collect locker solutions provide lots of options for conserving resources, such as by minimizing the time and effort required for packing and shipping – something that is sure to go down well with green-minded customers.

What’s more, your customers avoid the hassle of getting into their cars just to collect their goods as they can simply pick them up at a Click & Collect station. They can even do this outside opening hours, such as when they’re on their way home from work.

Software

The best way to use Click & Collect is to run an online shop. An API can then link the shop with the KePol Software Suite, which manages the Click & Collect lockers. It transfers information about the customer’s desired collection point and how much has been purchased, as well as the customer’s contact details.

The barcode required to collect the goods is also generated and sent to the customer. Once the goods have been collected, a new notification is generated to signal that the previously occupied locker is available again.

Kellner und Kunz is based in Wels in Austria and is a specialist in C-parts management. It has used KEBA’s Click & Collect solutions as collection stations for its customers since 2021. The Click & Collect locker is an extension of the company’s online shop and allows for a 24/7 service.
