The parcel machine must be accessible without barriers - at ground level or by elevator and both with a wheelchair and with a stroller. In general, there should be enough space around the parcel station, for example, to ensure uncomplicated parcel delivery. This is particularly important if the parcel station is located in a corridor.
Synergies and frequency of use
Consider locations that are regularly visited by your customers. These include, for example, supermarkets, shopping centers or gas stations. If daily errands can be directly linked to parcel pickup, this has a positive effect on frequency of use. In addition, CO2 emissions are reduced - and thus the environment is protected - if the trip to the parcel station is made together with the routes for daily errands.
